Recreation, a leading marketing, brand strategy, and creative development agency with a focus on Med-Tech, Healthcare, and Life Sciences, is in search of an ambitious and self-motivated Account Executive to join our growing San Francisco team. We are open to this role being remote only for top talent candidates; remote candidates must reside within the continental U.S. Recreation is a full service agency, and projects will range from Marketing Strategy, Brand Strategy, Video & Motion, and Creative Storytelling across all channels.

Position Overview
We’re seeking a Marketing Designer — a hybrid role that combines creative design expertise with strategic marketing insight to deliver outstanding results for our clients. In this role, you won’t just design beautiful assets — you’ll shape the marketing strategies behind them, ensuring that every piece of creative work is aligned to client goals, campaign objectives, and brand storytelling.You’ll work cross-functionally with account executives, creative, marketing strategists, and client stakeholders to guide projects from concept through execution, applying both visual and marketing expertise to help our clients stand out in their industries.

Responsibilities
  • ​​Creative Design: Develop visually engaging client deliverables including presentations, brochures, infographics, sales decks, digital ads, and event collateral
  • Digital Marketing Execution: Create digital assets for campaigns, product launches, social media, email marketing, landing pages, and paid media
  • Strategic Input: Collaborate with account and marketing teams to shape client strategies, ensuring creative execution aligns with marketing goals and campaign performance metrics
  • Brand Stewardship: Ensure consistency and excellence in applying client brand guidelines across all deliverables
  • Client Collaboration: Participate in client meetings and presentations, translating client needs into actionable creative and marketing solutions
  • Project Leadership: Manage creative timelines, prioritize work across multiple projects, and ensure delivery of high-quality, on-brand materials on deadline
  • Innovation: Stay current on marketing and design trends, bringing fresh, data-informed ideas to improve client outcomes
Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of combined experience in marketing, design, or creative project management (agency or client-facing experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and/or other digital design platforms
  • Solid understanding of marketing fundamentals, digital channels, campaign planning, and performance metrics
  • Experience creating a wide range of deliverables across both digital and print, with a strong portfolio of client work
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal and client teams, balancing creative vision, marketing goals, and practical constraints
  • Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
